Following that, we’ll book you in for an in-person assessment with us so you can come in, meet us, tour the studio, and we’ll go through a more thorough assessment to see how you move, where your strengths and weaknesses lie, and much more. Only then will we both decide if it’s right for you to join us.
In your first 6-weeks, you should expect to see a huge shift in your physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
You will see your strength and muscle mass increase as we track your main lifts in the training. You will see body fat go down and a shapelier reflection in the mirror as we work on your nutrition. You will also feel more energised and confident from the above plus our coaching around sleep, habit building, and mindset.
Yes! This is a big element of our coaching that we feel helps us on track with our mission statement to raise the standards of and redefine personal training. We have written a whole year’s worth of content that you’ll be drip fed during your time with us that will help coach you in everything outside of the training like your nutrition, recovery, sleep, mindset, and much more.
Not at all. THRIVE members vary in age and fitness level, and everyone started from somewhere.
Before you join us, we’ll assess your current fitness level to whether you will be more suited to SGPT or 1-1 and we take it at a pace that works for you. Our 1-1 training programmes are tailored specifically to your fitness level, and our SGPT training programmes can be scaled up and down by our coaches on the fly.
We have bridged the large quality gap between 1-1 personal training and generic classes by bringing what you’d expect from 1-1 personal training into a group setting. We keep the level of quality and personal attention high by limiting our sessions to 4 people maximum.
In these sessions, you will go through a programme that is predominantly strength-focussed, but also has elements of cardio, mobility, and skill with guidance from your coach. Each session is full body, so you hit all the major muscle groups of the body for optimal results, and the programme changes minimally every 4-5 weeks, with a larger rotation with each season to keep it fresh and stimulating!
You’ll also be added to our members-only email chain to learn in bitesize chunks everything else you need to know around health and fitness for success including sleep, nutrition, mindset, movement, and more. You are also assigned an accountability coach who is there to keep you on track and to answer any of your questions.
We believe in PROPER personal training! This means that we don’t just look to burn calories, see who can sweat the most, and leave you crawling out the door like a lot of places do! We train you appropriately for what is best for you, you will feel more energised every time you finish a session with us, and you won’t be sore for days after!
